Among the presenters and ParSU delegates was Maria Christina G. Garcia, who discussed โGender-Related Values and Preferences of Resource Users in a Municipal Marine Protected Area in the Philippines,โ highlighting how social and cultural values shape resource use and conservation practices. Meanwhile, Michael P. Rounding out the ParSU presentations, Sherry A. Combis shared โEthnographic Stories of Resilience, Survival, and Community among Small-Scale Fishers and Gleaners in the Partido Region, Camarines Sur,โ documenting lived experiences and collective resilience among coastal households.
Complementing these research presentations, Dr. Raul G.
