Partido State University (ParSU), through the Partido State University Non-Teaching Personnel Association, Inc. (PSUNTPA Inc.), celebrated the National Education Support Personnel Day on May 22, 2026, through β€œBIDA ANG SUPORTA: A Community Meryenda and Fellowship Games” held at the ParSU Gymnasium, Goa Campus.

In his message, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo underscored the importance of recognizing support personnel as integral partners in institutional development, emphasizing that while they may be in the background, they are the backbone of operations. He further remarked that, β€œAs we continue to grow as a University, I hope we also continue to grow as one community where support personnel are not treated as secondary, but as essential β€” not just as employees behind the scenes, but as partners in building the future of this institution.”

The activity honored the hard work and valuable contributions of the NTP to the University’s daily operations and service delivery. Through fellowship games and a community meryenda, personnel strengthened camaraderie, promoted wellness, and fostered unity.

By recognizing the indispensable role and dedication of education support personnel, ParSU cultivates a motivated, collaborative, and service‑oriented workforce that enhances institutional efficiency and improves the quality of services for students, stakeholders, and the wider community.

May 16 is declared National Education Support Personnel Day under Republic Act No. 12178 β€” a special working holiday recognizing the vital contributions of non‑teaching personnel in advancing education and institutional development.
