Partido State University (ParSU), through its Quality Assurance Center (QAC), has once again proven its commitment to excellence after successfully concluding the Hybrid Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP, Inc.) 3rd and 4th Survey Visits โ€“ Phase 2, held last August 13โ€“15, 2025.

This recent accreditation effort goes beyond compliance, serving as a critical moment for recalibration that reaffirms ParSU's commitment to meet and surpass established standards.

In her message, AACCUP Accreditor Dr. Sherrilyn B. Quintos emphasized the long-term impact of continuous improvement on both programs and communities. "By taking these opportunities for improvement, we can enhance the efficiency and long-term sustainability of these programs while also building stronger connections with the people we aim to serve," she shared, reminding the ParSU community that accreditation is not the end goal, but a means to create lasting, meaningful change.

Meanwhile, representing University President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Michael A. Clores expressed deep gratitude to the accreditors, affirming that their insights will serve as catalysts. "We pledge to refine our system, strengthen our linkages, and elevate our standards. Partido State University stands firm in its mission to be a cradle of sustainability and innovation," he said.ย

The 4th Survey Phase teams were composed of Dr. Kristine P. Pelaez and Dr. Emelyn Grace P. Estilo for the Master in Public Administration (MPA), Dir. Aurora E. Casuga and Dr. Narciso F. Castro for BS Accountancy (BSA), Prof. Julius A. Sareno for BS Information Technology (BSIT), ย Dr. Gladie Natherie G. Cabanizas for BA Communication (BACOM), Dr. Amelia Girly L. Aranas and Dr. Joy N. Savellano for BS Entrepreneurship (BSENT), and Dr. Ronald M. Ramirez with Dr. May Ann C. Pulgo for BS Hospitality Management (BSHM).ย

For the 3rd Survey Phase, the teams included Prof. Wilfredo D. Dalugdog for BS Criminology (BSCRIM), Dr. Maribel S. Tizo and Prof. Karen P. Andres for BS Environmental Science (BSES), and Dr. Shiela M. Reyes with Dr. Quirino G. Pascua for BS Fisheries (BSF).ย

On-site accreditors included Prof. Mary Joy A. Castillo of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Dr. Quintos of Bataan Peninsula State University for BACOM, Prof. Eduardo D. Masirag of Bulacan State University for BSCRIM, and Prof. Nancy M. Santiago of Bulacan State University for BSIT.ย

Marking another milestone, the accreditation solidifies ParSU's commitment to continuous improvement and the delivery of quality education to produce competent, proactive, and resilient graduates.ย

Further, it reflects the collaborative efforts of the university officials, department/program chairs, faculty, and staff of all the academic programs visited during the survey, through the guidance and support of the respective college deans: Dr. Mariel Estrella for the College of Arts and Humanities (MPA, BACOM); Dr. Rina Abner-Puerta for the College of Business and Management (BSA, BSENT); Engr. Emelina Padayon for the College of Science (BSIT); Dr. Jossie Romero for the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (BSHM); Dr. Shirlene Esplana for the College of Public Safety and Community Health (BSCRIM); Ms. Yolda Abante, OIC, for the College of Environmental Science and Design (BSES); and Mr. Lander Plantado, OIC, for the College of Fisheries and Marine Science (BSF).

The journey continues as ParSU walks forward with its partners toward a future shaped by purpose and excellence. Central to this progress, the QAC, headed by Ms. Janeth A. Cledera, continues to steer the university toward higher standards. As the center responsible for upholding academic standards, QAC's role was key in facilitating the survey visits and supporting the university's broader efforts toward institutional growth and development.ย
