





Partido State University successfully conducted Open House 2026 on January 20, 2026, at the University Gymnasium, welcoming prospective students and their parents to an immersive introduction to the Universityโs academic environment. The activity provided participants with a comprehensive overview of ParSUโs academic programs, facilities, and student support services, preparing them for their higher education journey.
The University Gymnasium buzzed with energy as representatives from various colleges and campuses engaged visitors through informative booths, interactive presentations, and live demonstrations showcasing curricular offerings and co-curricular programs. Prospective ParSUans interacted with faculty members, current students, and administrative personnel, who shared firsthand perspectives on academic life and campus experiences at ParSU.
In his message, Dr. Michael A. Clores, Vice President for Academic Affairs, encouraged participants to view the Open House not merely as a campus tour but as an introduction to future possibilities. He emphasized ParSUโs continuing commitment to academic excellence in the Bicol Region and highlighted the Universityโs role in preparing students, โfor you dear students, the future begins today. Here at ParSU, we prepare our students for jobs, for life, for leadership and service.โ
Program highlights included briefings on admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and specialized academic tracks across disciplines. Officials and staff from the Guidance, Admission, and Placement Office were also present to orient participants on the admission process, including the requirements and procedures for the ParSU College Admission Test (ParSUCAT), and to address inquiries from prospective applicants and their families.
Beyond academics, the Open House also underscored student life and engagement. Exhibits on student organizations, extracurricular activities, and community extension initiatives reflected the Universityโs commitment to holistic development and inclusive education.
The program concluded with an inspiring closing message from Dean Marieta P. Palmes, Director of the Office of Student Affairs, who reaffirmed the Universityโs dedication to nurturing studentsโ academic growth, well-being, and sense of community.
