As part of its strategic thrust to enhance administrative efficiency and financial transparency, Partido State University, through its Finance Services Division, held an Orientation and Training-Workshop on the Enhanced Financial Reporting System (EFRS) Phase I.ย
System developer Mr. Harold P. Magadia from the Department of Education Central Office provided valuable details on the implementation and advantages of the EFRS, emphasizing its role in public service. A hands-on workshop session on the navigation of the system followed afterwards.ย
In his message, ParSU President Arnel B. Zarcedo, EDEL, emphasized the critical role of automation in modern governance, stating that it is no longer a luxury but a necessity, being the new standard for efficiency, compliance, and transparency.ย
This initiative is one of the university's deliverables under its strategic plan, particularly in upscaling the capacity of administrative personnel. Thus, through EFRS, transactions, processes, and documentation automation will result in a streamlined reporting process, real-time data accuracy, and reduced manual errors.ย
President Zarcedo then encouraged all personnel to take an active role in this transformation, reminding the participants of its significance. "Automation is not just about systems; it's about empowering people, lightening the load of colleagues, unlocking time for more value-added work, and ensuring that our processes support the university's vision with accuracy and integrity," he concluded.ย
With this initiative, ParSU remains committed to delivering excellent service to its stakeholders and implementing efficient financial management practices to continue upholding transparency and accountability in its services. ย
