Partido State University (ParSU) takes another step toward financial integrity and efficiency with the Phase IV Launch of the Budget Monitoring System (BMS) and Enhanced Financial Reporting System (EFRS). Held in a hybrid setup at the RDE Training Hall on March 12, 2026, this launch is a technical upgrade that ensures every peso serves the ParSU community effectively.

EFRS presentations were led by Rica O. Relloso, Cristine P. Cu, and Celso C. Audreada Jr., with Mr. Harold P. Magadia, EFRS developer from the Department of Education Central Office, as resource speaker. Meanwhile, BMS presentations were handled by Paula Bernadette S. Abierra and Andrie B. Cu, with insights from Mr. Gilbert C. Morong, BMS developer from DepEd Central Office.

Serving as moderators for the EFRS session were Cyril D. Odiame (Accountant II, Salogon Campus), Mark Joshua Olocar (Accountant II, Tinambac Campus), and Earl Amiel Soltes (Accountant II, Lagonoy Campus), who facilitated discussions and participant engagement.

During the sessions, Mr. Magadia emphasized that information systems are continually evolving and can be customized to meet the University's specific needs and organizational structure. Reinforcing this point, Perlita D. Maรฑago, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance Services, highlighted the initiative's transformative impact, stating that the systems will enable more effective budget monitoring, improve the timeliness and accuracy of financial reports, and strengthen transparency and accountability in managing university resources.

The activity continued on March 16, 2026, with Day 2 focusing on the Orientation for New Users: Digitalization of ParSU Accounting and Budgeting Reporting System, held at the RDE Training Center. Resource speakers included Cyril D. Odiame for the EFRS and Paula Bernadette S. Abierra for the BMS.ย

Building on previous milestonesโ€”Phase I Orientation and Training on Automation of Budget Monitoring System (March 12โ€“13, 2025), Phase II Orientation and Training on the Automation of Accounting System (May 15โ€“16, 2025), and Phase III Upskilling Finance Personnel on the ParSU BMS and EFRS (August 19โ€“20, 2025)โ€”the sessions highlight continuous growth in administrative efficiency and the skill development of ParSU's finance personnel, especially budget officers and accountants.

Through this initiative, ParSU continues to advance not just systems, but the capacity and confidence of our people to manage resources wisely, ensuring that the university community thrives on transparency, efficiency, and shared responsibility.
