

Partido State University (ParSU), through its National Service Training Program (NSTP), brought the spirit of Christmas to families in Barangay Salvacion, Garchitorenaโone of the communities severely affected by Super Typhoon Uwanโon December 16, 2025.
A total of 127 households received relief packs, hygiene kits, clothing, school supplies, and cooking sets, providing much-needed support to families facing difficulties.


University President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo and other university officials affirmed their strong support for the initiative, reaffirming ParSUโs values of extending service to communities in need, including those in remote locations. Further, NSTP Director Dr. Maria Aurora G. Caballero emphasized that the initiative went beyond providing aid, as it also aimed to inspire hope and remind communities that education and volunteerism are powerful drivers of recovery.
LGU officials and community leaders welcomed the initiative, strengthening institutional collaboration between ParSU and the local government of Garchitorena. Anchored on service and solidarity, the activity advanced Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1: No Poverty, SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The Maagang Pamasko drive, conducted in line with the National Volunteer Month Celebration, reflected ParSUโs strong culture of volunteerism and service to communities in need.
