To enhance knowledge of tax filing processes, recent developments in tax regulations, and promote financial literacy, Partido State University (ParSU) hosted Tax Talks 2025: Your Filing Guide + Tax Updates on October 21, 2025, at the ParSU Gymnasium.
Esteemed speakers from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Iriga, Revenue District Office, Ms. Ada Lynn A. Ordas-Floresta, CPA, and Ms. Mary Wylene F. Amparado, CPA, led informative discussions on tax filing procedures, compliance, and the latest updates on tax laws and regulations.
The event was organized by BS Accountancy 3A students under the College of Business and Management (CBM). It was attended by CBM students, with virtual participants composed of business owners and Grade 12 ABM students from San Ramon Pilot National High School. The activity aimed to bridge academic learning with real-world applications and cultivate informed, responsible citizens equipped with practical financial knowledge.
Through initiatives like this, ParSU continues to uphold its commitment to transparency, good governance, and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening collaboration with government institutions.
