Partido State University (ParSU), along with other SUCs in the region took a strategic step forward in advancing student support systems, by formalizing Commission on Higher Education – Regional Office V (CHED-ROV)’s Project GAYOn (Guidance Assistance for the Youth Online) through a Ceremonial Signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last March 19, 2026, at Ninong’s Hotel.
Project GAYOn introduces a forward-looking, in-house digital platform designed to expand access to guidance and counseling services for students across Bicol’s higher education institutions. This initiative complements CHED ROV’s broader vision of innovation in student support and was initially launched during the Tertiary Education Subsidy Congress 2025 in Catanduanes, alongside Project SAGIP, which promotes environmental stewardship among scholars, and Project DASH, which enhances administrative efficiency through digital tools.
The partnership enhances the University’s capacity to provide timely support, promote mental well-being, and guide students through both academic and personal challenges.Through this initiative, ParSU reaffirms its role in building a more responsive and inclusive academic environment.
More importantly, this collaboration reflects ParSU’s continuing shift toward developmental, student-centered education—where success is not only measured by academic achievement, but also by the growth, resilience, and well-being of every ParSUan.
