In recognition of its growing partnerships with government agencies, industry, and community organizations that provide students with meaningful workplace experiences and practical learning beyond the classroom, Partido State University (ParSU), through its College of Science (COS), recognized its On-the-Job Training (OJT) partners and stakeholders during the 2026 Ugnayan: Pagkilala at Pasasalamat sa mga Katuwang sa OJT at mga Kaugnay na Sektor on July 31, 2026, at the RDE Training Hall, ParSU Goa Campus.ย
Among the recognized partners were the National Institute of Geological Sciences, College of Science of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, Balatoc Mines-Benguet Corporation, Department of Agriculture RFO V, ย DENR-MGB Region V, Environmental Management Bureau ROV, UPLB Museum of Natural History, National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, UPLB Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME), DOST-PHIVOLCS, Filminera Resources Corporation, PhilFIDA, BFAR Region V, PPL Paws and Tails, and the Goa Farmers and Fisherfolk Association.ย
In his message, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo encouraged students to view internships as opportunities to develop not only technical competence but also curiosity, collaboration, and professionalism. Expressing his appreciation to the University's partners, he emphasized, "lasting partnerships transform students, strengthen institutions, and uplift communities."
The program also featured stakeholder testimonials, an open forum, and a partnership dialogue, providing a venue to renew existing collaborations and explore new opportunities for internships, research, extension, training, and other academic engagements.
By sustaining strong partnerships with industry and government institutions, ParSU expands students' access to experiential learning, aligns academic programs with evolving workforce needs, and equips graduates with the competencies needed to thrive in the science and technology sector, supporting the University's commitment to developing industry-ready and socially responsive professionals.
