ParSU Holds Blessing Ceremony for New Patient Transport Vehicle and LED Billboard

Partido State University (ParSU) officially held a blessing ceremony for its newly acquired Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) and outdoor LED billboard on May 11, 2026, marking another milestone in its continuing commitment to responsive, accessible, and people-centered public service.

Now stationed at the University, the PTV is expected to strengthen the Health Services Unit's operations by providing timely, reliable medical transport to students, employees, and partner communities across ParSU campuses.

The vehicle is equipped with essential emergency transport facilities and medical accessories to support safe and efficient patient transport during emergencies and urgent medical situations, and was acquired through the PCSO-PAGCOR program with the assistance of Fourth District Representative Arnulf Bryan B. Fuentebella.

Highlighting the initiative's significance, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo emphasized that the vehicle reflects the University's commitment to safeguarding the welfare of its constituents beyond academics. "In a very real sense, this vehicle represents preparedness. It tells our students, our employees, and our community that ParSU is not only thinking about academics and research but also about care, health, and human life," he shared.

Alongside the blessing of the PTV, ParSU also unveiled its newly installed outdoor LED billboard at the entrance gate of the Goa Campus, which will serve as a dynamic channel for showcasing academic programs, achievements, announcements, events, and institutional milestones in a more engaging and accessible format for students, employees, guests, and the wider community, expected to improve the University's visibility and stakeholder engagement.

In addition, the installation also supports more efficient, sustainable operations by reducing the need to repeatedly produce tarpaulins, streamers, posters, and other printed materials for campus promotions and announcements.

These initiatives directly support the University's strategic thrust number 6: Achieving sustainable and resilient academic infrastructure. Moving forward, the University remains committed to advancing responsive systems that enhance service delivery, promote efficiency, and support the welfare of its academic community and partner communities.
