𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐔 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 ₱𝟑𝟔.𝟗𝟏𝐌 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐅 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐀𝐀 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐇𝐄

To help sustain its delivery of accessible and quality higher education across its seven campuses, Partido State University received a total of ₱36,911,635.00 in funding support following the Pre-Plenary Budget Hearing for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) on September 21, 2026. 

The amount includes ₱20,448,358.59 in Higher Education Development Fund (HEDF) support and ₱16,463,276.41 in General Appropriations Act funding. The HEDF component represents ParSU’s adjusted Free Higher Education (FHE) amount per audit, as reflected in the FHE SUC Deficit Summary issued for the University, covering validated deficiencies in the implementation of the FHE program for Academic Years 2022-2023 to 2024-2025. 

The release forms part of the government’s efforts to address validated FHE funding deficiencies incurred by SUCs throughout its implementation. Under the 2026 guidelines, the funding covers deficiencies for the three academic years and is released to concerned SUCs upon compliance with applicable requirements. 

The funding provides ParSU with additional financial capacity to sustain its academic and institutional operations and continue serving its students and communities across its seven campuses. 

Representing ParSU in receiving the funding were President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo, Vice President for Administration and Finance Prof. Charlie V. Balagtas, Head of the Cashiering Unit Dr. Tomas C. Sales Jr., and Supervising Administrative Officer and Acting Head of the Budget Unit Ms. Amalia O. Ocampo. 

ParSU extends its appreciation to CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis and the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges, led by Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, for their continued efforts in advancing the concerns of SUCs and working toward the resolution of the FHE deficiencies.
