Demonstrating its continued commitment to global academic engagement, Partido State University (ParSU) took part in the Opportunities Regional Bridging of Initiatives through Internationalization (ORBIT) 2025, a regional convergence of higher education institutions (HEIs) organized by the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, San Jose Campus, Pili, Camarines Sur, aiming to strengthen international linkages and academic collaboration.ย
ORBIT 2025, themed โOne ASEAN, One Future: Linking Academia, Industry, and Innovation for Sustainable Development,โ brought together state universities and colleges (SUCs), local universities and colleges (LUCs), and private HEIs across the Bicol Region to advance and align regional initiatives with global academic standards.
A significant event highlight was signing a Memorandum of Agreement between ParSU, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and Chienkuo University of Science and Technology, to foster joint academic programs, faculty, researchers, and student exchange programs, conduct collaborative research projects, symposia, and other initiatives supporting globalization, innovation, and sustainable development.
ParSU was represented by International Affairs Director Ms. Leih Anne Odoรฑo, Engr. Emelina Padayao, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computational Sciences, Dr. Rina Puerta, Dean of the College of Business and Management, and Dr. Mariel Estrella, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities.
The event was also attended by CHED Regional Director Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan, Jr., to show his support for efforts to enhance regional and global partnerships in higher education.
Through strategic partnerships and sustained international efforts like this, ParSU continues to position itself as a forward-looking institution committed to quality and transformation.ย
