Partido State University (ParSU) and Universitas Jambi (UNJA), Indonesia, have officially formalized partnership through the virtual signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at advancing academic and research collaboration.
This international partnership opens pathways for joint webinars, virtual exchange programs, collaborative research, paper presentations, student mobility, and faculty exchange initiatives that will provide expanded academic and professional opportunities for both students and faculty members of ParSU. Moreover, the collaboration paves the way for potential research funding and grants, enhancing the universityโs visibility and engagement on the global stage while promoting sustainable resource management practices that will have a positive impact on local communities.
Present during the ceremony were key university officials and representatives from UNJA, Drs. Jefri Marzal, M.Sc., D.I.T., Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Ir. Bambang Hariyadi, Vice Dean for Academic and Partnership Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Revis Asra, S.Si., M.Si., Vice Rector for Partnerships, Public Relations, and Information Systems.
Founded in 1963, UNJA is a large public university in the urban center of Jambi, Indonesia, that is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines.
Through the initiative of the College of Engineering and Computational Science, under the leadership of their Dean and the support of the Associate Dean, Faculty members, and staff, the signing marks a significant milestone in ParSUโs efforts to expand international linkages, foster academic excellence, and strengthen its role in building resilient and globally engaged communities.
